Ron Amdahl Award
We are accepting nominations for the Ron Amdahl Award. One of the founders of our conference, psychologist Ron Amdahl, devoted over a half century of service in helping others at the local, state and national level and his passion for the work he devoted his life to helped individuals create better lives and better communities, and added to the knowledge of our field. On January 27, 2022, posthumously, Ron was the first recipient of the award. Each year we select through nomination a colleague in the field who has exhibited through their work, dedication and innovation in the treatment and advocacy of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, the level of passion, devotion, and care that Ron was known for.
Nominations are due by December 1, 2025.
